Reiki Workshops
It is an honor and privilege to offer Reiki workshops in 2010. Workshops are offered for the beginner (Reiki I/II), as well as the advanced student (ART/Master and Karuna). Because of many requests from students who have wanted a longer period of training for Reiki Level I and II, I am offering a three day Reiki Retreat at the VA Center for Reiki Training on June 4-6. We will begin the workshop on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. to get to know each other and spend some time preparing and focusing for the Reiki training. In addition to the information and techniques taught in this workshop, there will be meditations offered to enhance the personal and spiritual growth of the student that can be integrated into their daily life. Students will learn how to incorporate Reiki for stress relief, healing of personal issues and experiencing peace. Meet your Reiki guides to support and assist in your healing. More practice time is included in this Retreat. Life can be stressful. We all need time to get away from the life that we know for a while and spend time focusing on ourselves. I invite you to treat yourself to the nurturing and loving atmosphere of the VA Center for Reiki Training located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. Make new friends and do something healing for yourself. You deserve it!
Reiki I and II Workshops for 2010
This is a workshop with Lynn McBride Boggess, Senior Licensed Reiki Master Teacher.
This class is for anyone interested in learning techniques for self-healing and helping others. Reiki (ray-key) is an ancient healing technique for modern times. Reiki restores energy balance and vitality by relieving physical and emotional effects of unreleased stress. Reiki (Spiritually Guided Life Force Energy) is powerful, yet wonderfully gentle and nurturing. It supports any medical or healing method a client may be using.
Reiki is a method to aid the body in releasing stress and tension through deep relaxation.
This is a two-day intensive workshop (9:30 AM to 6:00 PM) which results in Certification as a Reiki I and II Practitioner through the Center for Reiki Training.
In this class you will learn:
- The history of Reiki
- What Reiki is and how it heals
- The human energy system
- Reiki treatment techniques
- How to use Reiki for personal healing and to assist others
- How to do a complete Reiki treatment on self and others
- Beaming
- Scanning
- The second degree Reiki symbols and how to use them
- How to use Reiki for absentee healing

Advanced Master Workshops for 2010
This workshop is taught by Lynn McBride Boggess at the Virginia Center for Reiki Training located in Blue Ridge, VA
ADVANCED REIKI TRAINING
This one day intensive includes:
- The Usui Master Attunement which strengthens the Reiki energy
- The Usui Master symbol which increases the effectiveness of the other symbols and is used for healing
- Reiki meditation to strengthen the mind & expand consciousness
- The use of cystals to create a Reiki grid to continously send Reiki to yourself & to others
- Aura Cleansing technique using breath to assist in removing negative energy from yourself and others
REIKI III/MASTER
This two day intensive includes:
- The complete Reiki III Usui/Tibetan Master attunement
- Instruction and practice on giving all attunements including Reiki Master
- The healing attunement which heals and strengthens the effectiveness of Reiki treatments
- Two Tibetan symbols are taught, giving you a total of six symbols to assist in your Reiki healing work
- Advanced Reiki Meditation that harmonizes the energy of the chakras
- The values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master

Master Karuna Reiki Workshops
Karuna Reiki® is an advanced workshop offered to students with Reiki Master Training. Karuna Reiki® is considered a level beyond the Reiki Master. It was created by William Rand and the ICRT. Karuna Reiki® energy is noticeably stronger and creates within the healer the ability to heal a wider variety of issues more quickly.
Karuna is a Sanskrit word meaning compassionate action as a result of the growth of unconditional love within a person. Through Karuna training, the student receives wisdom that enables them to heal issues that may prevent them from feeling healthy, unconditional love. As the student grows in wisdom and understanding of compassionate action, they become beacons of light in our world.

- Definition of Karuna Reiki® and the two Karuna levels
- The origin of Karuna Reiki®
- Karuna Reiki® Spiritual Guidance and connection with Spiritual Beings
- Eight symbols of Karuna Reiki® and their uses
- How to give a Karuna Reiki® treatment
- Discussion and meditation on healing the Shadow self
- How to pass on Karuna Reiki® attunements for Karuna I and II Practitioner Levels
- Discussion and practice of chanting and toning with Karuna Reiki® symbols for healing
Upon completion of this workshop, the student will be able to register with the International Center For Reiki Training and use certificates and manuals from the Center in your classes.
